Transparent paint protection film is engineered to preserve the original finish while helping defend it from scratches, stone and sand impact, contamination and weather exposure.
Z+ PPF is a five-layer TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) film: a protective top layer, a self-healing layer, a flexible Lubrizol or BASF TPU base film, an Ashland adhesive layer and a release layer.
What is the difference between Z+ MAX and Z+ PRO series?
Z+ MAX series uses BASF TPU with a heat self-repair coating and a 7-year warranty. Z+ PRO series uses Lubrizol TPU with an instant self-repair coating and a 10-year warranty. Both are available in 190, 210 and 240 micron thicknesses.
Does Z+ PPF self-heal?
Yes. Both series use a self-healing coating that recovers from light surface marks and swirls — MAX series heals with heat, PRO series heals instantly.
Will Z+ PPF turn yellow over time?
No. Z+ PPF is engineered to be anti-yellowing and color-stable, with a yellowing level of ΔE ≤ 3.
What warranty comes with Z+ PPF?
Z+ MAX series carries a 7-year warranty and Z+ PRO series carries a 10-year warranty.
Is Z+ PPF the same as color-change film?
No. Z+ PPF is a transparent TPU film designed to protect the original paint finish. Color-change film is a separate high-gloss PET film category for personalizing or changing a vehicle's color.
How thick is Z+ PPF?
Z+ PPF is available in 190, 210 and 240 micron thicknesses depending on the product and series.
Should Z+ PPF be professionally installed?
Yes. Z+ PPF is designed for clean, professional fitting and is installed through Z Plus Auto Care's network of trained installer partners.
